500 płyt "Rolling Stone'a"
Magazyn "Rolling Stone" ogłosił listę największych albumów wszech czasów. W czołówce trudno mówić o niespodziankach. Pierwsze miejsce przypadło słynnemu Sierżantowi Pieprzowi The Beatles. W pierwszej dziesiątce znalazły się w sumie cztery płyty kwartetu z Liverpoolu.
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" wyprzedził w zestawieniu "Pet Sounds" The Beach Boys, "Revolver", zaś na czwartym miejscu uplasował się Bob Dylan z płytą "Highway 61 Revisited". Sporym zaskoczeniem jest brak w pierwszej dziesiątce jakiegokolwiek tytułu Led Zeppelin, U2 czy Jimiego Hendrixa.
