O płycie

Po wydanej w 2004 roku EP-ce "The Haematobic", belgijscy liderzy brutalnego death metalu sprokurowali wreszcie następcę trzeciego albumu "Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage Done" (Listenable Records, 2003). Czwarty longplay Belgów zarejestrowano w duńskim studiu "Antfarm", z Tue Madsenem w roli producenta (m.in. The Haunted, Mnemic, Panzechrist, Destiny). Wśród 10 kompozycji, na "The Archaic Abattoir" znalazła się również przerobiona wersja utworu "Gestated Rabidity" (oryginalnie na "The Haematobic EP"). Gościnnie na czwartym albumie Aborted swojego głosu użyczyli: Bo Summer (Illdisposed), Michael Bogballe (Mnemic) oraz Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere).
