O płycie

Kolejne dzieło legendy thrash metalu z Niemiec i pierwsze nagrane z nowym perkusistą Markiem Reignem, który zastąpił Svena Voormana. Różnica w zestawieniu z poprzednią płytą "The Antichrist" polega na tym, iż tym razem sami muzycy postanowili zatroszczyć się o brzmienie albumu. Różnica jest słyszalna. Brzmienie 10 utworów na "Metal Discharge" jest o wiele bardziej surowe od tego, które dwóm poprzednim wydawnictwom tria nadał Peter Tatgren.
Album ukazał się również w wersji limitowanej, na którym znalazły się: "Killers" ( z repertuaru Iron Maiden), "Whiplash" (Metallica), "Fuck The U.S.A." (The Exploited), "Bestial Invasion" (wersja z 1999 roku, wcześniej niepublikowana), "The Butcher Strikes Back" (demo z 1999 r.), "Nailed To The Cross" (demo z 2001 r.) i "Metal Discharge" (demo z 2003 r.).
