Dziesiąta płyta niemieckiej legendy thrash metalu. Materiał na "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N." powstał w duńskim studiu "Hansen", gdzie nad jakością brzmienia czuwał ceniony fachowiec Jacob Hansen. Zespół gościnnie wsparli trzej cenieni gitarzyści: Gary Holt (Exodus), Jeff Waters (Annihilator) i Vinnie Moore (UFO).
