Drake przyznał się do plagiatu!

Drake, chcąc uniknąć procesu, poszedł na ugodę z raperem występującym pod pseudonimem Rappin' 4-Tay.

Sprawa dotyczy utworu "Who Do You Love?" rapera YG, w którym Drake występuje gościnnie.

Wersy, za które odpowiada Drake, brzmią zaskakująco podobnie do utworu "Playaz Club" z 1994 roku. Autorem tego numeru jest Rappin' 4-Tay. Kanadyjczyk był wściekły, gdy usłyszał, jak jego rodak Drake bezpardonowo korzysta z jego twórczości. Rappin' 4-Tay głośno domagał się uznania jego autorstwa i finansowego zadośćuczynienia.

Drake'owi i Rappin' 4-Tayowi udało się dojść do porozumienia. Drake uznał swoją winę i zgodził się na 100 tys. dolarów odszkodowania.

Rappin' 4-Tay przekazał mediom, że nie czuje się już urażony.
