O płycie

Trzecia płyta grupy dowodzonej przez Maynarda Jamesa Keenana, wokalisty znanego z formacji Tool. Premierę zaplanowano na dzień wyborów prezydenckich w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Muzycy nie ukrywali bowiem, że zależy im na zmianie lokatora Białego Domu, czyli George'a W. Busha. Dlatego sięgnęli m.in. po słynny antywojenny protest-song "Imagine" Johna Lennona. Niemal cały album wypełniony jest przeróbkami utworów innych wykonawców. Jedynie "Passive" i "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums" to autorskie numery A Perfect Circle. Ten drugi jest remiksem utworu "Pet", znanego z drugiej płyty grupy, "Thirteenth Step" z 2003 roku. APC, poza "Imagine", nagrali także swoje wersje m.in.: "What's Going On" Marvina Gaye'a, "People Are People" Depeche Mode, "Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie" Black Flag i "When The Levee Breaks", znanego z repertuaru grupy Led Zeppelin.
